Bonnie Hancock, Professor of Practice of the ERM Initiative at NC State University interviews David Hughes, Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Planning at HCA Healthcare about how his organization conducts annual risk interviews as part of an ERM process that has been in place for over 15 years.
David starts by describing how the annual interview process is conducted and the types of questions he asks.
He then goes on to describe how he goes about compiling the information gleaned from the interviews and the challenges in summarizing so much information.
Finally, David shares the keys to making the interview process effective in his organization and the techniques he uses to keep the process fresh.
