The ERM Roundtable Summit brings together every Fall and Spring leading risk management professionals to cultivate thought leadership around emergent ERM issues.

Our day will feature a number of ERM leaders from organizations across different industries who will share insights about their ERM processes, including ideas and examples of tactical approaches for increasing ERM’s effectiveness. Confirmed speakers include

“Leveraging the Benefits of GenerativeAI for Risk Insights”
John will highlight how generative AI tools are being used to help identify insights from the large number of risks identified across a large multi-national organization. He will highlight how AI tools can provide unique perspectives about emerging trends and hidden issues that can be gleaned through this innovative technology.
Lora Jex, HomeTrust Bank
“Planning for Your Worst Nightmare Can Pay Off”
HomeTrust Bank is headquartered in the mountain city of Asheville, NC. In September 2024, Hurricane Helene imposed massive and sudden devastation throughout western North Carolina, cutting off power and water supplies, and destroying highways and roads in a widespread region. Despite the huge disruption, HomeTrust Bank was able to restore core operations quickly to resume services to its customers. Lora is going to share insights from that experience to highlight key attributes of a successful business continuity plan and its implementation.
Hayden Lee, TIAA
“Who’s Watching Whom? Overseeing Supplier Risks”
TIAA helps millions of individuals manage their retirement accounts. Like every organization, they partner with all kinds of suppliers and third parties to help them serve their clients through safe and sound operations. Hayden will highlight how TIAA assesses supplier risks and controls that are in place for managing vendors in and out of the organization.

REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY

Important Cancellation Information:
- If written cancellation requests are received by 5:00 PM Eastern time, twenty-one (21) days PRECEDING the date of the event, the registration fee will be refunded less a $50 processing fee.
- Due to financial obligations incurred by the ERM Initiative, a credit voucher equal to 50% of the registration fee will be issued for written requests received by 5:00 PM Eastern time, seven (7) days PRECEDING the date of the event. Credit vouchers can be applied towards future ERM Initiative events within 12 months of the cancellation.
- A FULL refund shall only be given for an event that is cancelled by the Initiative for any reason (speaker issues/conflicts, unexpected low attendance #s, etc.). NOTE: All other costs (exchange rate fees, airfare, etc.) incurred by the registrant for the event are the responsibility of the registrant with no additional refunds from the ERM Initiative.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for written cancellation requests received after 5:00 PM Eastern time seven (7) days PRECEDING the date of the event.
